About Al-Huda Project
The Al-Huda Masjid is a structural representation in honor of the beliefs of the followers of the Muslim faith in the State of Indiana. The masjid was remodeled recently to modernize its community center and capture the beauty of Islamic architecture. This architectural marvel comprises unique doors with custom gold and brass door inlays, custom gold and bronze hardware finish, and no gap partitions designed for maximum privacy in all layouts with gold handlebars. To say that the work done at Al-Huda was a one-of-a-kind is not a stretch.
Project Overview:
The Al-Huda project was the result of many hours of collaboration between CIH, the General Contractor, and the Al-Huda staff. Due to the uniqueness of this project, CIH took the lion’s share of the design-build process and offered full A to Z service. Our contributions included spec writing and providing custom doors, frames, and hardware, including toilet partitions and accessories. We also installed all the products we supplied. The project was not without its challenges; however, the overall majesty of the building was well worth the effort that was put forth by all involved.
To give more of a sense of what goes into a project such as this, we have asked our team to provide us with some thoughts on their experience during the process:
