Security Door & Hardware (SDH) was founded in 1967 by Security Lumber as its commercial hardware and door division. Soon, SDH grew to be one of the leading suppliers in Illinois with two locations in Urbana and Springfield. On April 17, 2020, SDH was acquired by Indianapolis-based CIH, a leader in Division 8, 10, and 28 products and solutions. With the backing of our new family, SDH will be leveraging enhanced capabilities, while still maintaining the excellent service our customers have come to expect.
